Designed by a team of historians and passionate entrepreneurs, Ferestroika is a well-documented, interactive time capsule that helps you understand the legacy of communism on present-day Romania.

Our tour in a nutshell
Meet our staff at Gorjului Metro station, just outside of the barriers of Exit A.
From Gorjului Metro station walk 5 minutes to the museum, time well spent to learn about the Militari neighborhood and its history.
At the apartment you will go from room to room, discovering the true story of the family that lived here in the 80’s and learning many unique insights about Romanian life during the communist regime.
Beverages and snacks are included.
A great history tool and a very unique place of Bucharest and Romania!

"A truly unique museum and insight into the Communist era. Most of the artifacts are from the current owner's grandparents who lived in the apartment through the Communist era. It's a perfect contrast to Primaverii Palace. The only issue is the ticket is not cheap, but I believe it is worth the splurge." Kevin
